Retaining Walls

Retaining walls can be built using concrete sleepers, concrete plinths (a solid wall which has been boxed up and filled with concrete) or Perma Pine sleepers.

Adding retaining walls can add to the visual appeal of your property by allowing fencing to flow with the fall of the land.

In the photo below, the retaining wall has been built with concrete sleepers that start at one metre and gradually diminish to have only two fence heights. For this retaining wall we installed metal and Ag pipe to assist with drainage.

Please take a look at the other photos below to get more information and see different aspects of the property.

The photo below shows the neighbouring side of the retaining wall where the infill of metal has been laid and quality potting soil distributed for the owners to plant out against the fencing.

Below are examples of a poured concrete plinth retaining wall
This is holding back soil from the next door property but also offering a sound plinth or basis in which to support the new post and rail fence.
